Unless God's Love Satisfies You

Do you know that, numerous individuals are in wrong relationships because they want to feel loved? This is an obvious truth in our generation, and every person has been guilty of this. Young adults all over the world, a huge amount of them, are in a cycle of moving from one romantic relationship to another, the reason being that they hope to feel loved and when they stop to feel loved in a particular relationship, they move to the next. And unless God's love satisfies you, nothing can. Let me break it down; we are created to be satisfied by God's love and only by His love because the flesh—human body can never be satisfied. Humans naturally have insatiable desires, an 'it's never enough' desire—and that's why, the flesh keeps on wanting and desiring to be loved. God created us. He planted desires in our hearts quite right. So, it only makes sense that the One who created the desire is the only One able to satisfy it. When you start to realize the above truth; ev...

The Pain Process

Most times, people fail to share the pain process; the blood and sweat it took to get the victory. I see numerous great people on social media and I marvel at how far they have come, thinking they must have had it easy. Previously, I started to look deep into the lives of others, as they share not only successes but also pain processes. This made it less intimidating and relatable. Letting me know that great people had moments when they felt demotivated, even wanting to give up. It's a gift to not solely focus on the surface levels of people, but rather 'Look Beyond What You See'. Regardless of your role models not sharing their pain, we ought not to think for once that they had it easy. It takes resilience, discipline, encouragement, and power to not give up. So, let's treat ourselves and the people around us with grace and love. “Appreciate the stage you are currently in—continue to Thrive.” M. E Ojukwu. Little Pieces

Don't be Scared to Dream Big

You never settle for less…always desiring to be the next Big Thing. I mean—you could be if only you don't stop dreaming. Taking the first step is a very uncomfortable thing to do. It could be scary at times, regardless, take a deep breath and go for it. Apostle Johnson Suleman says…“It's a risk to not take risks.” That is, nothing gets done or created without taking the risk of leaving your comfort zone. And if you don't at least try, it doesn't make any DIFFERENCE, yet, when you do try—there's always a POSSIBILITY for the next Big Change to come. So what are you losing to just trying? When you take that bold step—even though you fail and fail again, you did not actually “FAIL” because you did something you wouldn't normally do, kudos to that. Additionally, you gained a valuable lesson and experience. Life's Big Successes usually come from Big Failures too. However, the “Consistent Dream” and work bridge the gap—and then we have a Story; A collection of all ...

The Vitality of Quiet Time

Quiet time is not negotiable. In the era we are in, multiple distractions are constantly begging our attention. It's not a shocker that we unintentionally fall into the world of non-stop dopamine. Well, here's the interesting part, 'stop and breathe'. Yes, breathe…it's vital. Get your eyes off your screens and live. Actively spend time with your family and friends. You can do this on your Sabbaths also called 'Rest Days' or better still make one. Take a day off. It could be a Saturday or Sunday. Make efforts to rest your body and mind on these days. Most importantly, use this opportunity to cast your worries onto God. Listen to God's sweet voice, so you will be refilled for the week ahead. Try to keep calm, take deep breaths, and enjoy the silence. When you start to prioritize practicing quiet time, you realize how filled you become. You tend to appreciate the virtue of silence. You become filled with peace that surpasses all understanding. Dearest reade...

The Power of Saying 'No'

We all love to say yes all the time. Yes to going out, sleeping, talking, etc. But find it difficult to utter the brutal word 'No'. 'Yes' sounds more like a happy word whilst 'No' sounds bad. However, 'No' is that one word that ends an endless conversation, and prevents you from being stuck in a ditch or doing something you did not plan to do in the first place. So, is 'No' terrifying? And why? From the ground of a person who suffered from severe people-pleasing- 'No' is one word that was exempt from my dictionary. It used to be a scary word for me because I feared displeasing people; mind you, it was more than an unconscious habit than it was a conscious one. I mean, saying no saves you a lot. It saves you time and energy. Most importantly, it is the power that delivers you from being a people pleaser to pleasing God alone. Saying 'No' is usually difficult compared with saying 'Yes' but it is mind-blowingingly vital. Here...

He won’t Give Up on You

That feeling when you don't aspire to listen to any motivation. You desire to sit in a spot, scrolling through your phone and being sad all day. We all feel this way at a point. We don't understand why everything has gone haywire, why the motivation we have been holding onto seems to fade away from our hearts. Likewise, we take a glance, but nothing makes any sense.  There's just one Man, who is never willing to turn His back on you. Even when you feel He should, so that your pain may be complete. He is incredibly loyal, to the point of tears. You mean a lot to me, He declares. “I will love you in your pain still. The world will let you down, but, I will never.” “When you feel I should give up on you so, you could drown in pain, I'll be there with you. I'll give you my shoulders to cry on, I'll wipe away your tears; this is my Promise to you, proclaims the Lord.” His Name is Jesus… M. E Ojukwu. Little Pieces
