Do It UNAPOLOGETICALLY
Have you ever been scared of being too good at something? Playing it safe so you wouldn’t appear perfect before others? Well, this was me too, but thank God there’s a Bible verse that drives that fear away.
Jesus Himself is perfect, and by Him we are all made perfect. The Scripture is Matthew 5:16; here Jesus says, “...let your light so shine before others that they may see your good works and give Glory to your Father who is in Heaven.” That is, I shouldn’t be scared of showcasing my gifts, ideas, and wisdom to the world, as all of these are a gift from God.
In fact, be proud to showcase your gifts so that people will see them and give Glory to God. God did not create us to be small or to play small; rather, He says in the book of Psalms 91:14, “...I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.” God is thinking big of you; why will you think small of yourself? Say it until it sinks in: “I’m Light, and I function as Light 100%.” Not 99.9% but 100% completely.
You mustn’t feel like you’re GREAT; if you’re waiting for you to feel like it, you’ll have to join the never-ending bus of “waiting to feel like it...” You have to proclaim you’re Light, a great man or woman who has the solutions to the problems of this world, and do it unapologetically. Like, why will you say sorry for being great? Then, who did God create you to be? If not everything that encompasses GREATNESS.
Choose to function as Light—do it unapologetically.
